Based on the above technologies, the DotCube Protocol can implement various services based on its scalability. Each service model is configured to utilize the three-dimensional space-based front-end and UI/UX characteristics of the metaverse to provide users with i) immersive content, ii) a more extended user experience, and iii) an expanded worldview through various business configurations. Under these service goals, various services that were previously centered on text and “plane" are being transformed into new types of services in accordance with metaverse traits.
DotCube Protocol is expanding its platform services as a metaverse protocol through combinations, alliances, and joint businesses with various service partners' existing online and offline and is in the process of building an economic system (Ecosystem) that can meet users' needs and operate various economic activities on the entire protocol network.
The services outlined below are services that are currently being collaborated and developed to deploy services within the DotCube Protocol as of the first half of 2023 and are expected to attract more diverse services as the platform standard DotCube Protocol is released and the platform is upgraded.
① Meta Artist service and music distribution service platform based on AI composition system
The AI (Artificial Intelligence) composition system-based music service and Meta Artist service, which will be released in the second half of 2023, will build artist spaces such as workshops, performance venues, and practice rooms of a virtual artist and producer named Aimy Moon in the Metaverse service Cube on the DotCube Protocol, and release various music contents. The sound source generated by AI is released as a sound source by a virtual artist, and auditions are to be conducted for service users to produce as a singer and release the sound source. Each sound source is sold through the marketplace platform in the protocol as an NFT, and Amy Moon's Meta-Human will expand its revenue activities through SNS activities, as an advertising models, and with music video content.
② Meta Museum & Art NFT Services platform
The Meta Museum service, which will be introduced at the end of 2022, will be implemented to organize a space with an original exhibition concept unique to the DotCube Protocol based on the theme of artist works of renowned artists and emerging NFT artists, and allow users to view spatialized works, purchase NFTized works directly in the Metaverse space, and display and enjoy them in their own space, My Cube. In addition, the service provider is to build a community of artists to create a large amount of specialized NFT works and trade them through the NFT marketplace.
③ Metaverse Based Education Content Services platform
Educational content services are one of the oldest IT services and one of the most digitally transformed industries. And in the aftermath of COVID-19, which has been ongoing since 2020, online courses and remote lectures have become commonplace. While the transition to the metaverse is proceeding rapidly, it is also difficult to identify the characteristics and advantages of educational services in the metaverse environment. However, the DotCube Protocol is interested in building a learning environment centered on students rather than an instructor-oriented lecture environment. That is, it aims to implement an environment where students can secure their own learning system and related course materials through MyCube and receive guidance from instructors in their own cube through its community function.
④ Healthcare Big Data Based Brain Health Management Service for Elderly
Digital Therapeutics (DTx) has been a hot topic in healthcare lately. These are a series of digital services that treat diseases and improve health through digital software services rather than drugs, such as applications, games, and virtual reality. The first DTx was Reset, a service developed in 2017 to treat drug addiction, which received FDA approval in 2017 and is being used by healthcare organizations. In order to manage the brain health of the elderly, dotcube protocol is planning to implement a similar DTx service optimized for users with brain disease-causing factors through gene-based healthcare big data as a VR / AR / PC / smartphone service on the metaverse platform, and to develop a service for the maintenance and recovery of elderly brain health such as dementia and Parkinson's syndrome by linking it with offline healthy food services. This service will also provide AI-based services such as brain health self-diagnosis and counseling and brain health management roadmap construction by utilizing generative AI that is currently spreading.
① On-Off Integration Based Pet Lifecycle Management Service
The number of pet households in Korea is estimated to be 6.04 million as of 2019, with 14.48 million pets, according to Statistics Korea's 2019 Population and Housing Census. This means that one out of every 3.5 people in South Korea lives with a pet. Pets are now considered family members, and the pet industry is exploding. The pet lifecycle management service promoted by the dotcube protocol is centered on the metaverse, and services in the entire pet lifecycle, such as pet sales, health care, healthy food, pet hotels, and funeral services, are being prepared by linking the metaverse and blockchain into one worldview.
② International Luxury Meta-commerce Service
DotCube Protocol is expanding its live commerce-based services for overseas luxury brand products to the DotCube Protocol's metaverse environment and is promoting the service by adding metaverse-specific services. Due to the characteristics of live commerce, it is absolutely necessary to attract the attention of potential customers in real time and induce them to purchase with various benefits, so we plan to enhance the product power by applying space-based community-type commerce so that users' reactions can be seen immediately in real time. In addition, by developing and providing avatar items of overseas luxury goods to users, we are promoting interest in the service and inducing return visits.
③ Metaverse NFT Marketplace and Blockchain Services
Due to the nature of the metaverse environment, each service user and provider can interactively create, sell, and consume digital content and digital assets. In this regard, various rights relationships such as intellectual property (IP), ownership, license, copyright, and moral rights may arise, and these assets and contents may be used outside the platform. In addition, when connecting with offline, blockchain can be used as a useful tool to verify the rights of service providers and service users. DotCube Protocol will provide a marketplace and related blockchain infrastructure so that these invisible rights relationships can be transacted as digital assets on the blockchain.
These individual service models serve as a window for the expansion of the platform and the introduction of additional services. In addition, development of services within the dotcube protocol related to social campaigns is also underway, in line with the social nature of the metaverse.
The dotcube protocol constitutes the basis for the expansion of a wider range of services through the technical openness of the protocol, the possibility of creating new business models through linkages between business platforms, and the synergy between services centered on users. Service users of platforms connected to the protocol can create, sell, and monetize their own content on the platform, and each service provider will also develop business models for users and conduct various revenue activities. The interaction of revenue models between users and service providers, which is also a characteristic of Web 3.0, constitutes a more complex and multi-dimensional economic circulation system as the service providers are diversified, and the complexity of this economic model provides a model that can grow and stabilize the economic ecosystem by itself.
